An Exhibition of The ACAT Students was held in the USA
The photography work of the ACAT students was presented at the first exhibition of its kind. It took place in two centers - the CHICAT center, corresponding with the ACAT center in Chicago, and the "Rodef Shalom" synagogue in Pittsburgh. The event took place in collaboration between the Israeli consulate in Chicago, the ACAT center, the CHICAT center, and the Pittsburgh community Synagogue, which supported the project in Akko from its inception. The exhibition presents and marks the beginning of a path for student exchange, and is a part of a successful campaign of international collaborations held by Naim Abid; CEO of ACAT, Mark Frank, the chairman of the NCAT Association, and Keren Zahavi in charge for resource development.
A direct result of the meetings that were already active; donations were received at ACAT, and doors were opened for future donations and other collaborations. On the same trip, Bill Strickland - founder of the CAT CENTER FOR ARTS AND TECHNOLOGY, announced that following the success of the ACAT center, Strickland showed interest in establishing more centers around the world and even he gets the interest of the Dalai Lama and Desmond Toto.
