Ambassadors of the ACAT Center: The New Generation of Young Leadership
Twenty-five Jewish and Arab youths began a shared journey as ambassadors in the unique "Full Steam Ahead" program; which tracks the future generation's leadership. In a productive learning environment designed for them at ACAT center, and with the help of advanced equipment, students photograph and exhibit their work, edit short films, design models and print them using 3D printers. Furthermore, they attend conflict management workshops where they go through a developing learning experience.
During their time working together, a valued group of ambassadors was formed, which raises more students to participate in the activities, and creates circles of influence on their environment. This activity was created by ACAT specifically for a program funded by USAID; the US Agency for International Development. Its importance lies in gathering youth from the two sectors and in internalizing the possibility of cultural dialogue, thereby preparing them for the next possible conflict in Israel.
