Dreaming of a new venture in tourism or hospitality?  Looking to take an existing business to higher levels?  Tourism and hospitality in Akko, Northern Israel and the Western Galilee is trending and the future is expected to bring further growth.  Flourishing businesses in the culinary and hospitality spaces, art galleries, cooking classes and many different attractions for tourists have encouraged A-CAT to develop courses in this popular segment, enabling entrepreneurs to gain tools that will help them develop the new generation of businesses in the region.

The course is geared towards tourism entrepreneurs, professionals and managers in the city of Akko and throughout the Western Galilee, preparing them to open a new business or providing support for existing businesses, while bringing them together as a community and encouraging collaboration.

Curricula are designed to educate and train tourism operators in the economic and operational aspects of running a business including: how to write a business plan, legal aspects, logistics, branding and marketing on social networks. The course is a collaboration between A-CAT, the Treasures of the Galilee venture and the University of Haifa's School of Tourism. Teaching staff includes School of Tourism faculty members, and industry experts. Graduates receive certificates from all three organizations.
